While this seems risky, it actually helps with thinning your deck down enough that you would reach your key cards more frequently. A number of his cards exhaust on use, when not used, or allow him to exhaust other cards of his choice. His primary card manipulation mechanic is Exhaust, which removes a card until the end of the combat. While it takes a while for the ball to get rolling so to speak, if the Ironclad can really take off, he'll either be doing absolutely absurd amounts of damage or otherwise be so well defended that enemies can't even penetrate through his utterly massive wall of block. Of all the playable characters, Ironclad has the most cards meant for Gathering Steam, often dramatically buffing his stats over time. Ironclad specializes in two major areas: Strength stacking and Defense stacking. Begins with 5 Strike cards, 4 Defend cards, and 1 Bash card.
